Stuff like this is why Apple is awesome.

Couldn’t find the little Apple remote so I thought “Hmm, I wonder if I could set up my phone to use as the remote for the Apple TV…” Turns out all I had to do was launch the built-in Remote app and, there it is – it recognizes the device without me having to set anything up, and lets me control both the AppleTV and iTunes on the computer.
