That Time

That time, at times, was

The only time he could call back calmly

It was then he said silently

That laughter is painful

And pain laughable

It was then he left the heart

To faint and feigned

Faith to a father he could not

Name

It was then he announced to

the dead that he was

ready

It was then that his spine

And mind met and

Hidden fought half-heartedly

For water, for a corner of the

Void

It was then he vowed never

To use words like Void or

Was or Is or

Ever or Time

Or Or

He would never forget to

remember that time

The only time

Left him

until
