A glimpse of the devastation wrought by the record-breaking flood in my hometown of Minot, North Dakota. Seeing the water up to the roofs of houses was shocking — but the aftermath is worse. Pictures and video don’t really do it justice, seeing it in person is hard to comprehend, sort of surreal…
